Background of the Bethlehem Clubmen's Association

The Bethlehem Clubmen's Association has been in existence for 65 years. The association was originally organized in 1952.

The Bethlehem Clubmen's Association is a non-profit, charitable association dedicated to protecting and promoting the interests of private clubs in and around the Bethlehem area. These private establishments consist of, but are not limited to: athletic, politically Independent, Democratic, Republican, ethnic and cultural organizations. The Bethlehem Clubmen's Association monitors LCB and LCE regulations, as well as State and Local legislation affecting our member organizations.

We currently have 18 member organizations, representing approximately 12,000 individual members.

Each member organization is represented by 1 or 2 delegates at our monthly meetings. We meet the first Thursday of every month.

The Bethlehem Clubmen's Association sponsors various charitable activities during each calendar year. Some of our most recent activities include Christmas gifts for needy children, donation baskets for local hospital residents, and collecting much needed supplies for local animal rescue organizations.

We hold an annual Clubman of the Year Award Banquet. This was established in 1965 to recognize a person that has given of themselves in a volunteering, charitable and worthwhile manner to make our communities, member clubs and organizations better.
